The Birth Realm provides continuous, non-medical assistance to Mom, the baby, and partner during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Advocate
The Birth Realm is dedicated to advocacy for Mothers and Babies who are under our care/support. Advocacy happens before and after the delivery of your precious bundle.
Educate
The Birth Realm wants Mothers to stay informed about their bodies and their babies. You’ll end your time with TBR well-equipped with the necessary tools and confidence as a Mother.
The Birth Realm Doula Promise
Pregnancy
The Birth Realn promises to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to Mom. TBR will help by offering guidance on prenatal care, visiting care providers, answering questions, and assisting in birth planning to ensure the mother feels prepared and empowered. TBR will also help manage stress and anxiety through relaxation techniques, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, and advocate for the mother’s wishes in collaboration with healthcare providers. TBR presence is designed to foster a sense of reassurance and comfort throughout pregnancy, contributing to a more positive and confident experience.
Delivery
The Birth Realm promises to be a laboring partner during delivery, helping Mom and Baby into the most beneficial positions. The goal here is to ensure your birth plan comes to fruition. TBR assists by offering comfort measures such as breathing techniques, massage, and positioning suggestions to help manage pain and promote progress. TBR will also act as an advocate, helping Mom communicate preferences to medical staff while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence. By fostering a supportive environment, TBR contributes to a more positive and empowered birth experience for Mothers.
Postpartum
The Birth Real promises to give essential support for families postpartum by offering physical comfort, emotional reassurance, and practical assistance. TBR will assist with newborn care education, breastfeeding guidance, and encourage healthy recovery for Mom. TBR will also assist in creating a calming environment, facilitating communication between family members, and connecting families to community resources. TBR presence helps reduce stress and promotes confidence during the transition into parenthood.

Yes, a doula is present in the delivery room, which is where most of the advocacy, support, and assistance take place. It doesn’t matter how your birth story ends; it always begins with a doula in the delivery room. That part of the plan never changes.
